Abstract:
Objective: To analyze the diagnosis and treatment for small intestinal non-epithelium tumor. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 46of patients with small intestinal non-epithelium tumors seen in our hospital between January 1995 and January 2005. Results: All of the46patients received surgery, and there was no preoperative death. The 5-year survival was 41.3% .Conclusion:The morbidity of small intestinal non-epithelium malignant tumor is low, but there is also some law pertaining to the treatment and diagnosis. Examinations must be given to patients with digestive tract syndrome, although no lesion is found in the esophagus, stomach or colon rectum, to avoid misdiagnosis of small intestinal non-epithe-lium tumors.
