Abstract:
There are many risk factors common to both malignant tumors and cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, many anti-tumor treatments potentially induce cardiovascular toxicity, which is increasingly becoming a key factor affecting the prognosis of these diseases. Currently, the common risk factors for malignant tumors and cardiovascular diseases, anti-tumor treatment and cardiovascular toxicity, and intervention and treatment in onco-cardiology are the main research areas in onco-cardiology worldwide. However, the field of onco-cardiology is still in its infancy, and many clinical research fields are not yet established in China. Therefore, this article reviews the correlation between anti-tumor therapy and cardiovascular toxicity, common risk factors for tumors and cardiovascular disease, and emerging interventions and treatments in onco-cardiology and provides suggestions and insights regarding the development of onco-cardiology in China.
