果糖与肿瘤关系的研究进展

Advances in the relationship between fructose and tumor

  • 摘要: 失控性增殖为肿瘤最突出的生物学特征。肿瘤细胞为了满足其快速增殖的需要,必将调整其代谢行为,尽可能利用可获取的营养物质,特别是对糖类物质的快速利用和消耗。果糖为己糖单糖,是葡萄糖的同分异构体。与葡萄糖的代谢不同,果糖的代谢不受限速酶调控,肿瘤细胞可能更容易利用果糖。虽然,目前缺乏直接的证据证明人体摄入果糖与肿瘤的关系,但是越来越多的流行病学调查和实验研究发现,果糖的大量摄入与肿瘤发生及进展密切相关。本文就近年来果糖在细胞中的代谢途径、大人群队列研究果糖与肿瘤发生发展之间的关系等研究进展进行综述,以期为肿瘤的预防和治疗提供新的思路。

     

    Abstract: Uncontrolled proliferation is the most prominent biological feature of tumors. In order to meet the needs of rapid proliferation, tumor cells must adjust their metabolic behavior and make the best use of available nutrients, especially for the rapid use and consumption of carbohydrates. Fructose, a hexose monosaccharide, is an isomer of glucose. Unlike that of glucose, fructose's metabolism is not regulated by a rate-limiting enzyme, suggesting that fructose may be more readily available to tumor cells. Although there is currently no convincing direct evidence to show the relationship between fructose and tumor, an increasing number of epidemiological investigations and experimental studies have found that high fructose intake is closely related to tumor development and progression. To identify new strategies for cancer treatment and prevention, we have reviewed the recent advances in the research on fructose metabolism in cells and the relationship between fructose and tumor development.
