单细胞测序技术在恶性肿瘤研究中的应用进展

Application of single-cell sequencing technology in malignant tumor research

  • 摘要: 恶性肿瘤是严重威胁人类健康的公共卫生问题之一,具有多样性、复杂性和死亡率高等特点,已成为学术界关注的热点与难点。异质性为恶性肿瘤的主要特征之一,影响肿瘤发生、发展、转移和治疗等。随着人类基因组计划的完成和测序技术的不断发展,单细胞测序技术已应用于多个生物医学领域,且在分析肿瘤细胞亚群、揭示细胞异质性和研究肿瘤的发生、演变及耐药性等方面具有独特的优势,为探索恶性肿瘤的临床诊治和预后判断等提供新方法和新思路。本文主要对单细胞测序技术的发展及其在恶性肿瘤研究中的应用予以综述。

     

    Abstract: Currently, malignant tumors are a major public health problem and pose a serious threat to human health. Because of the diversity and complexity and the high mortality rates, they have been a popular but complicated research topic for several years. Heterogeneity is one of the main characteristics of malignant tumors, and thus, this characteristic may affect many other aspects, such as tumorigenesis, development, metastasis, and therapeutic effects. With the completion of the Human Genome Project and the continuous advancement in sequencing technology, single-cell sequencing technology has been applied in many medical research fields; in particular, it is useful for analyzing tumor cell subpopulations, cell heterogeneity, tumor occurrence, evolution, and drug resistance. Therefore, this technology has provided us with a new tool for clinical diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors and for estimating the prognosis at an early stage. In this article, we aimed to review the advances in single-cell sequencing technology and its application in malignant tumor research.
