Abstract:
Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women. Although treatment methods for breast cancer have been greatly improved, there are limitations for advanced and triple-negative breast cancers. Therefore, new therapies are warranted. The oncolytic virus therapy is an immunotherapy method that can selectively kill tumor cells, destroy the tumor vasculature, regulate the tumor microenvironment, and promote anti-tumor immunity. At present, many types of OVs are used for breast cancer treatment, with reasonable efficacy and safety, and they exert a synergistic promoting effect combined with immunotherapy. This article reviews the main research progress in oncolytic virus therapy for breast cancers.
