Abstract: A 16 year old male patient was admitted due to having a fever for more than one month accompanied bycough, breathlessness and cervical lymphadenectasis for 10 days. He was initially diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma andthe left supraclavicular lymph nodes were removed. After admission, subcutaneous emphysema and breathlessness becamesevere. Mediastinal emphysema drainage brought no relief. Lung tumor centesis was performed and the tumor was identi-fied as pulmonary blastoma (PB) by pathology. The symptoms became progressively more serious. After one cycle ofchemotherapy, the patient was discharged with remarkable improvement. The regimen was administered as follows: IFO 2gⅣ (from 1st to 3rd day), DDP 50 mg IV (from 1st to 3rd day), and E-ADM 80 mg Ⅳ (on the 1st day). Pulmonary blastom-a(PB) is a rare primary malignant lung neoplasm. In this case, chemotherapy achieved satisfactory therapeutic effects.
