Abstract:
Objective : To explore the lymphatic metastasis clinical and pathological relative factors of esophagus carcinoma.
Methods : To analyze the relativity between clinical and pathological factors and factors of 32G patients with esophagus carcinoma underwent radical esophagectomy.
Results :149 patients had lymph nodes metastasis in 326 patients with esophagus carcinoma. Rate of lymph nodes metastasis was 45.7%. Rate of lymph nodes metastasis was 28.6%, 30.1%, 51.4%, 65.5L and 73.7% for the length of lesion ≤3cm, 3.1~5cm, 5.1~7cm, 7.1~9cm and >9cm. Rate of lymph nodes metastasis was 87.0%, 34.0%, 14.3%, 57.1% and 62.5% respectively for low differentiation, middle differentiation, high squamous cell carcinoma, squamous- adenocarcinoma and adenocarcinoma. Rate of lymph nodes metastasis was 13.3%, 29.9%, 47.8% and 92.6% respectively for Tb T

4. There was statistic remarkability between three above factors. There was obvious relativity between rate of lymph nodes metastasis and sex, age, nationality, site of tumor and pathological types. There was positive relativity between length of lesion and depth of tumor invasion.
Conclusion : The longer carcinoma and the deeper invasion with lower differentiation, the more lymph nodes metastasis.
