Abstract:
Objective: To research the relationship between differentiation and apoptosis of EoL-1 induced by dbcAMP and bcl-2 family. Methods: We examined the bcl-2 family expression in EoL-1 cells cultured with dbcAMP by Western blot and flow cytometry. Results: We found that EoL-1 cells under normal culture conditions expressed bcl-2, bcl-xL and bax at high level but not bcl-xs. dbcAMP downregulated bcl-2 and bax level but upregulated bcl-xs level. Conclusion: It surggests that the eosinophilic differentiation and apoptois in EoL-1 stimulated by dbcAMP partly have relations with the decrease of bcl-2 and increase of bcl-xs.
