Abstract:
Objective : To study the quality of life for the patients who have been performed with total gastrectomy of different reconstruction.
Methods : Retrospective analyze 48 patients' clinical and pathologic data who underwent total gastrictomy between 1999.5~2002.5, evaluated the follow-up data with the method of Yisck score, compared the Quality of Life between patients who were operated with jeiunal pouch which maintenance or no-maintenance oi duodenal passage reconstruction.
Results : In half of a year, the most common symptom of all patients is reflux. The two groups have no different in 14 special post-operation symptoms; but after one year, there are significant differences between body weights (P<0.01), quantity of food intake (P<0.05), frequency of food intake (P<0.05) in the two groups.
Conclusion : No-maintenance of duodenal passage reconstruction is predominant to maintenance of duodenal passage in Quality of Life. Reflux can depresses short after operation.
