Abstract:
Objective : To explore the method of treatment on polymorphic T-Cell lymphoma of nasal cavity and sinus.
Methods : The data of 14 patients with polymorphic T-Cell lymphoma were reviewed and the results after treatment with simple radiotherapy or radiotherapy after chemotherapy, followed by chemotherapy were analyzed.
Results : Of all the 14 cases, 2 cases were IE stage with completed relief (CR) after simple radiotherapy, and were followed-up from 19 to 77 months without relapse. Eight cases were Ⅱ E, of which 3 accepted chemotherapy, died in 50 days to 2 months. The other 5 cases achieved C R by radiotherapy after chemotherapy followed by chemotherapy, and were followed-up for 20,32,63,76 months respectively without recurrence. Four cases were ⅣE stsge, among which 3 died in 1 to 4 months after chemotherapy. The other one with partial remission (PR) was treated by radio therapy after chemotherapy, followed by chemotherapy, with no recurrence, and were followed-up for 64 months.
Conclusion : To treat primary the polymorphic T-Cell lymphoma of nasal cavity and sinus, it is applicable to treat patients of IE stage with simple radiotherapy and Ⅱ E stage toⅣ E stage by systermatic chemotherapy after chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy.
