Abstract:
Targeted therapy, a promising treatment, offering the hope of improving the medical management of ovarian cancer while being less toxic to normal cells, has been applied in clinical trials gradually and has demonstrated significant benefit compared with traditional therapies. This review investigates the research, application and prospect of targeted therapy in five aspects such as monoclonal antibody, tyrosinase kinase inhititors, anti-angiogenic agents, gene therapy and photodynamics therapy, in an attempt to understand the mechanism and the curative effect better.
