Abstract:
Objective : Dynam ically studying the protein expressions of genes p53 and bcl-2 and the cellular apoptosis and their relations in the development of tree shrew live r cancer.
Methods : Using immunochemistry S-P and term inal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick end labeling (TUNEL)technique to inspect the p53 and bcl-2 proteins of the tissues of 30th-week, 60th-week and liver-can-cer-period tree shrews of the experimental group in 35 instances during the development of live r cancer and the active live r tissues of the tree shrews of the blank group in 13 instances bearing the same period.
Results : The occurrence of HCC has relation with genes p53 and bcl-2 whose expressions are in increasing trend and revealing no apparent dependent relation.
Conclusion : The influence of p53 on the apoptosis is not prominent, and the anti-apoptosis effect of bcl-2 depends on the expression of Bax.
