乳腺癌中BI-1基因与ER PR表达的关系及意义

Correlation Between Expression of the BI-1 Gene and Receptors for Estrogen and Progestogen and Its Significance in Breast Cancer

  • 摘要: 目的:探讨乳腺癌BI-1基因与雌孕激素受体表达的关系及意义。方法:采用免疫组化S-P法检测48例乳腺癌及配对正常组织中BI-1的表达,并分析与ER、PR受体的关系。结果:乳腺癌及配对正常组织中BI-1表达阳性率分别为77.08%、18.75%,两组间相比有显著性差异(P<0.05)。ER阴性组BI-1表达阳性率高于ER阳性组,阳性率分别为94.74%和65.52%差异有显著性(P<0.05);PR阳性和阴性组之间的表达差异无显著性(P>0.05);淋巴结转移组BI-1表达率高于未转移组(P<0.05)。结论:BI-1与ER的联合检测是判断乳腺癌患者预后的重要指标。

     

    Abstract: Objective: To investigate the correlation between the expression of the BI-1 gene and the receptors for estrogen and progestogen in breast cancer and its significance. Methods: Immunohis-tochemical methods were used to detect the expression of the BI-1 gene and the receptors for estrogen and progestogen in breast cancer. Results: The positive rates of expression of the BI-1 gene in breast cancer and matched normal tissues were 77.08% and 18.75%, respectively. The difference was statisti-cally significant (P<0.05). The positive rate of expression of the BI- 1 gene was higher in the group with no expression of estrogen receptor(94.74%) than that in the group with detectable expression of estrogen receptor (65.52%). There was no statistically significant difference in BI-1 expression between the pro-gestogen receptor (PR)-positive and PR- negative groups(P>0.05). The positive rate of expression of the BI-1 gene was also higher in the group with lymph node metastasis than in the group without lymphnode metastasis. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Detecting expres-sion of the BI-1 gene in combination with estrogen receptor is an important indicator for prognosis of breast cancer.
