Abstract:
Abstract Mammary gland stem cells not only play an important role in the development, differ-entiation and function of the mammary gland, but they are also associated with breast carcinogenesis and recently they have been shown to be the targets of transformation during breast carcinogenesis. Un-til now there have been no specific mammary gland stem cell markers, so researchers rely on stem cell markers borrowed from hematopoietic, neural, epidermal and other systems to search for stem cells inmammary glands. This article reviews the research progression of mammary gland stem cell markers andtheir role in breast carcinogenesis.
