Correlation between the POLιGene and Tumor Susceptibility

  • 摘要: POLι(Poliota)基因是一种参与DNA损伤修复的基因,其编码产物是DNA聚合酶Y家族的成员,即DNA聚合酶ι,在DNA跨损伤合成中起重要作用。近年来研究发现POLι基因与某些肿瘤的发生和发展有关。本文对DNA聚合酶ι的基因定位、结构、功能、分子特性及其与肿瘤易感性的关系进行综述,旨在为探索肿瘤发生机制提供新的线索。

     

    Abstract: The POLι(Pol iota) gene product participates in the bypass of DNA lesions. It encodes DNA polymerase ι(pol iota) that plays an important role in translesion DNA synthesis. Recently, POLι is found to be connected with the generation and development of some tumors. We summarize the gene location, construction, biological function, and molecular properties of DNA polymerase ιand address its connection with tumor susceptibility.
