Abstract:
In 2020, the incidence rate of breast cancer in China surpassed that of lung cancer for the first time and became the malignant tumor with the highest incidence rate. Surgery is the main method to treat early breast cancer. In recent years, with the improvement of integrated diagnosis and treatment level and the high-quality development of breast surgery, combining the concepts and technologies of oncoplastic surgery, applying plastic surgery principles and techniques to the treatment of breast cancer patients, achieving perfect integration of resection and repair, and restoring organ function and appearance damaged by surgery as much as possible while ensuring the safety of oncology, is currently a hot topic of concern in breast surgery. However, this technology has been developed in China for a short period of time and its development is uneven. It is urgent to develop relevant guidelines to ensure standardized implementation of the technology, reduce complications, and improve aesthetic effects while ensuring the safety of oncology.
