Abstract:
As a new treatment modality, robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery has advantages over conventional lapa-roscopy and enables more surgeons to perform minimally invasive surgery. Robotic-assisted surgery has been used in the management of gynecologic malignancies with promising results. In this article the application of a robotic surgical system in treating endometrial cancer is reviewed. This article evaluates the advantages, limitations and future direction of robot -ic-assisted surgery.
