Abstract:
Pituitary tumors are clinically common neoplasms involved in the central nervous system. The endoscopic endonasal approach is a safe and feasible technique for managing pituitary tumors. Endoscopic technology has been increasingly used in clinical practice because it results in limited nasal injury, decreased operating time and postoperative complications, and quick postoperative recovery. This study aims to evaluate the advantages and effectiveness of the endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal approach for the removal of pituitary tumors. This approach should be further modified and optimized in clinical trials and practices.
