Abstract:
Leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) is characterized by the infiltration of malignant tumor cells into the leptomeninges and the subarachnoid space, giving rise to complex and diverse neurological deficits. Solid and hematopoietic malignancies can result in LM. The current diagnosis of LM is mainly based on medical history, clinical presentation, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) examination, and neuro -logical imaging. Therapies of LM include supportive treatment, surgery, radiotherapy, intra CSF chemotherapy, systemic chemotherapy and targeted therapy.
