Abstract:
Flotillin-1 (FLOT-1) is one of the protein markers of lipid rafts. It is involved in a variety of cell physiological activities and is also closely related to the development of many tumors. Recent research reports indicate that FLOT-1 is highly expressed in breast cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma, and it is associated with clinical grade, transfer, infiltration, and prognosis. This study briefly summarizes the structure and function of FLOT-1 and its role in a wide variety of human solid tumors.
