Abstract: Hormone therapy plays a very important role in advanced breast cancer treatment. In recent years, there has been an increased focus on developing novel endocrine treatment strategies involving new drugs for treatment of endocrine-resistant breast cancer. This review summarizes recent advances in hormone therapy for advanced breast cancer in the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting 2018.
