Abstract:
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a malignant tumor associated with high morbidity and mortality in China. The incidence of sarcopenia (SAR) in patients with various malignant tumors is relatively high, and it is accompanied by great severity of treatment toxicity and poor prognosis. The occurrence, development, and prognosis of HCC and adverse reactions to various treatments are closely associated with SAR. Here, we review the researches on HCC and SAR in China and abroad to clarify the relationship and subsequently provide reference for clinical treatment.
