Abstract: Gastric cancer is one of the most common cancers in alimentary tract, with a high mortality due to post-operative recurrence and metastasis. Peritoneum is the most frequently involved site of metastasis from gastric cancer. We reviewed the current status and important advances in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of peritoneal metastasis from gastric cancer.
