Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinicopathologic characteristics of primary malignant lymphoma of the testisor ovary. Methods: Samples from 26 cases of primary malignant lymphoma in the testis or ovary were observed with HEstain and immunohistochemistry. The lymphomas were classified according to the WHO (2001) critieria. We used Ann Ar-ber to identify the clinical stages. Results: There were 21 cases of primary testicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (rangedfrom 60 to 70 years). For the 13 cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, the median survival was 35.2 months and the 5-year survival rate was 38.5%. For the five cases of T cell lymphoma, the median survival was 18.6 months, the 2-year sur-vival rate was 40.0% and the 5-year survival rate was 0%. For the one case of B-SLL and two cases of lymphoplasmacy-toid lymphoma, the 5-year survival rate was 100%. The median survival was 75.1 months for the eihgt stage Ⅰ cases,36.5 months for the 8 stage Ⅱ cases, and eihgt months for the five stage Ⅲ and stage Ⅳ cases. There were five cases ofprimary malignant lymphoma in the ovary and were all diagnosed as B-cell lymphoma(thee cases of B-small lymphocyticlymphoma and two cases of lymphoplasmacytoid lymphoma). There were one stage Ⅰ case, two stage Ⅱ cases and twostage Ⅲ cases. Three patients died within 1-7 months and the follow-up data of the other two patients were unavailable. Conclusion: Most of the testicular primary malignant lymphomas are DLBCL. The prognosis is correlated with the initialstage of disease and morphological characteristics. The prognosis of ovarian primary malignant lymphoma is worse.
