Abstract:
Objective:To explore the relation between VEGF and nm23-H1 genes expression andthe clinicopathological features and CT appearances in lung peripheral cancer. Methods: the CT findings of 47 cases patients with lung cancer were reviewed, and the VEGF,nm23-H1-H1 expression of lung peripheral cancer lesions were detected by immunohistochemistry(LSAB).Results: 1, The nm23-H1 and VEGF expression showed significant relation with the size of primary tumor, nodule metastasis, p-TNM stages of lung cancer (P<0.05). 2, The VEGF expression was negatively related to nm23-H1 inlung cancer (P<0.05); 3, The high expression of VEGF and the low expression of nm23-H1 were related to deep lobulation, metastasis of mediastinal lymph node (P<0.05), moreover VEGF expression showed relation to frank cavitation (P<0.05); though they showed no relation to spiculation sign, vacuole sign, pleural indentation sign and bronchus sign (P>0.05). 4, There exited a correlation between tumor size with deep lobulation, vacuole sign and bronchus sign (P<0.05), and no related to spiculation sign, pleural indentation sign and metastasis of mediastinal lymph node (P>0.05). Conclusion: Both VEGF over-expression and nm23-H1 low expression have a close relationship with the deep lobulation, metastasis of mediastinal lymph node and vacuole sign in lung peripheral cancer.
