Abstract:
Objective :To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and transforming growth factor-beta 1 in cervical cancer tissues and the relationship between cervical cancer clinicopathologic character.
Methods :Making use of immunohistochemistry to analyze the expression of VEGF, TGF-pi in 30 cervical cancer cases with statistics.
Results :There are higher expression about VEGF and TGF-β1 in cervical squamous cancer ( I-Ⅱstage). Among them, the expression rate of VEGF in I stage, stage and tumor cells invasion lymph node is 78.3%, 71.4X and 100.0%, respectively; and the expression rate of TGF-β1 is 91.3%, 42.9% and 75.0%, respectively. The expression rate has the relationship with age, volume of tumor, depth of infiltration.
Conclusion :VEGF may improve the cancer cells proliferation and spreading; TGF-β1 may lower immune function of body and result in cancer cells escaping from immune surveillanceP
