Abstract:
Objective:To study the effect of Bim on the genesis and progression of endometrial carcinoma. Methods: Expression of Bim was evaluated by immunohistochemistry (SP) in 55 cases of endometrial carcinoma, 13 ('uses of atypical hyperplasia endometrium and 11 (uses of normal prolifera-tive stage endometrium. Results: The positive rate of Bim expression in endometrial carcinoma is 47.2%, which is lower than that 7n 7n normal proliferative endometrium (100%) and that in perplasia endometrium (76.9%). The difference betweenthere is no difference among different histological gradesthem is significant (X
2=7.944, atypical hy-P<0.05), but, clinical stages and muscle invasions of endometrial carcinoma (P>0.05). Conclusions: There endometrial carcinoma and the change of expression is a close relationship between the occurrence of Rim.
