Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effect of the expression of c-Kit protein and its relation-ship between the clinical pathology and the prognosis of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Methods:Immunohistochemical technique was used to detect the expression ofc-Kit protein in 63 patients with SCLC. Results: The lation between the positive expression of c-Kit protein was 56%(35/63).There was no obvious corre-expression of c-Iit protein and the sex, age, stage with SCLC. Conclusions: The SCLC expression and the c-Iit protein and have survival further of c-Kit rate of the patients confirmed that there is a close correlation between the development of SCLC and the expression not exactly correlate()the prognosis of patients with SCLC. We need to get more protein, samples which does to further studies. Previously established anti-c-Iit effects of STI-571 on SCLC cell lines and vations will supply a new method for clinical therapy of SCLC.
