Abstract:
Objective : To observe the clinical effect for combination therapy of Cluster Electrode Radiofrequency Ablation(RFA) with Gemcitabine plus Cisplatin (GP) on advanced stage Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).
Methods : A total of 34 patients with advanced NSCLC of stage III and stage IV underwent RFA and GP combination therapy. The results were compared with those underwent GP chemotherapy alone.
Results : The RFA and GP combination therapy group was superior to the GP group in the evaluation of therapeutic effect, the life quality marks and the survival time and there was a statistical significance in the therapeutic effects (P<0.01).
Conclusion : The RFA and GP combination therapy can improve the therapeutic effect of advanced stage NSCLC and can be a new comprehensive therapy in the treatment of advanced stage NSCLC.
