Abstract: Objective: To investigate the expression of PD-ECGF, C-erbB-2 and Cath-D in cer-vical squamous cell carcinoma and their clinical significance and relationship among them.Methods:By using immunohistochemistry to detect PD-ECGF, C-erbB-2 and Cath-D in 87 cases of cervicalsquamous cell carcinoma and 23 samples of dysplasia of cervical epithelium and normal cervical tis-sues. The relationship between their expression with clinicopathologic factors was analyzed by chi-square test.Results: 1) The expression rates of PD-ECGF are in connection with cellular differentiationand cervical squamous cell carcinoma of clinical stage. 2) The expression rate of C-erbB-2 elevatedparalleling the escalation of the clinical stage and the cellular differentiation of cervical carcinoma (P<0.05). 3) The expression rate of Cath-D was in connection with cellular differentiation and lymph nodesmetastasis (P<0.05). 4) There was a relationship between expression of C-erbB-2 and Cath-D (P<0.05).Conclusion: The result suggests that the expression of PD-ECGF, C-erbB-2 and of Cath-D are closelyrelated to growth, invasion and metastasis of the cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
