Abstract: Objective :To study the clinicopathologic characteristics of squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)of the breast. Methods :Six cases with SCC of the breasts were observed on histopathological characteristics. Results :The light microscopic findings of these six cases of SCC of the breasts were described.In histopathological characteristics,there were three cases with prominent cyst changing in the lesions of SCC,while the cysts were not formed by the central necrosis of SCC of the breasts and terminal ducts of SCC of breasts were found. Conclusion :SCC of breasts may be originated from metaplasia of ductal epithelium of the breast.
