Abstract: Metastatic carcinoma of the spleen (MCS) is rarity and its clinical misdiagnosis rate is high. Study advances of the prevalence situation , clinicopathologic features and diagnosis of MCS from Chinese and English medical literature were reviewed to raise the understanding of clinicopathological features of MCS , enhance diagnosis consciousness of MCS and increase the diagnosis level and the detectable rate of MCS.
