Abstract:
Objective: To explore the relationship between the content of serum TGF and the ex-pression of carconoma in HRT in women with ovarian carcinoma. Methods: The level of serum TGFand expression of carcinoma were detected with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and immuno-histinochemical staining respectively in 75 cases with ovarian carcinoma that have been treated with orwithout HRT and 40 normal control as well as 30 normal ovarian issue. Results: The contain of serumTGF in clinic stage Ⅲ was higher than that inⅠ-Ⅱ, and contain of serum TGF with greater omentum metastasis is higher than that without metastasis. There was no significant relationship between the ex-pression of TGF and the type of pathology, degree of differentiation, lymph node metastasis, ascites and dimensions of residual tumor. There was no significance relationship between the expression of TGF and the clinical pathology. In different stages (before operation, after operation or radiotherapy, in half and one year after operation or radiotherapy), the level of serum TGF was no significantly difference in the patients with ovarian carcinoma between the group HRT and NHRT. There was no significant relation-ship between TGF level of serum and expression of cancer. Conclusion: There is no correlation be-tween the content of serum TGF and the expression of carcinoma in the women treated with HRT orNHRT for ovarian carcinoma.h
